Stationsstadens Pre-school

Stationsstadens was a newly built pre-school in Kävlinge where I created a better acoustic environment for children and staff in collaboration with Wobedo Design of Sweden. The assigment was to design its dining room and activity room with Wobedo Sound Absorbents. Two rooms which are usually very noisy due to the activities that are performed. The reberveration was significantly reduced after installation. The idea was to create inspiring areas by combining Town and Woolbubbles series with the colors that were already chosen by the municipality.
Dining-room: Town series covers two walls of the dining-room. On one side is day and on the opposite side is night. Sun and moon on top of the skylines. Town contributes to give a sense of order. All sound absorbents in line, tidy and clean.
Activity-room: This space is completely opposite to the dining-room space. This is a space to play, cheerful, a bit crazy. Woolbubbles are all around and a big sunrise appears in the top corner. It´s time to play!
